The Grand Mark Prague is a five-star hotel located in the heart of Prague. This luxurious hotel prides itself not only on first-class accommodation but also on exceptional gastronomy. Since 2024, the hotel's kitchen has been equipped with our DeliMaster baking and pastry oven, which the staff absolutely loves.

 

What has been your experience with DeliMaster so far?

► This was our first experience with a Retigo product. From the very first days, my team and I were excited, and that enthusiasm has remained ever since. The initial training from Retigo helped us master the most important features and techniques. We also learned how to create our own programs for the DeliMaster, which we now use frequently.

What do you prepare in the oven?

► DeliMaster helps us with breakfast preparations every day. It is in full operation from the early morning hours, baking rolls and bread. Later in the morning, it is used for baking cakes, sponge bases, and à la carte desserts such as crème brûlée.

What does the Retigo product mean to you?

► Czech quality. I really appreciate that Retigo is a Czech company and that its combi ovens are manufactured in the Czech Republic. Whenever possible, I strive to support local products, but it is essential that they meet high-quality standards. Fortunately, Retigo fully meets this requirement.

What benefits does DeliMaster bring to your kitchen?

► "The main advantage of DeliMaster is its even baking results. We are also very satisfied with its capacity—thanks to the five trays, we can meet all our needs. The oven is in operation throughout the entire day. The controls are simple and intuitive," says Jaromír Hlavsa. He also appreciates the availability of service and spare parts. When making further investments in kitchen equipment, Retigo would be his clear choice. "Compared to a standard oven, a combi oven eliminates about a third of the workload. It is a professional, multifunctional machine that helps save time," he adds.

The hotel's pastry chef and Chef Hlavsa’s colleague is also extremely satisfied with the DeliMaster. What she values the most is that once a specific program is set, she can be sure that the results will be the same every time. "I can rely on this machine 100%. My favorite thing to prepare in it is yeast-based pastries, for example, turn out beautifully fluffy with a nice golden color."

 

She also recalls the first days with DeliMaster: "We were so excited about it that we kept baking all the time."
